Zen - the perfect antidote

We woke up this morning at Dartington Hall after hitting the sack at about 2 o'clock (quite early compared with many). It would have been lovely to walk round the grounds of this beautiful place and take in the wonderful trees, the Henry Moore sculptures and the gardens but unfortunately we were on a mission to get back to Finlake and say out goodbyes to all the family members who were packing up and leaving. After breakfast we stopped off at the Zen garden, which is a lovely place to reflect even for the short time we had available.

We're home now and how nice it is after a very enjoyable but hectic week with so many lovely people but so little time to enjoy them, as is so often the way on these occasions.
