Aurora Borealis at Bassenthwaite Lake

There was a red warning for the Aurora last night - but we had thick cloud and I thought I was going to miss it. But at 11.30 I looked out again and the sky was starting to clear a bit. I shot over to Bassenthwaite Lake to find clear skies and the most amazing Aurora! - Though as usual in the UK, colours were difficult to establish with the naked eye, the vertical bands were clear to see, and the photos were simply amazing!
