2023 Saturday — Dinner with Friends

This has been a wonderfully fun evening with friends having dinner at Tognazzini’s in Morro Bay. We have known Robin & Cynthia for years. Mr. Fun officiated their Yorba Linda wedding years ago, I think 1986.

Cynthia introduced us to the marriage ministry of Gary Smalley and John Trent. That drop of information caused wonderful ripples of good things as a couples Sunday School class called “Wedding Song” started and then many Care Groups of couples formed to gather weekly to learn helpful ways to be more happily married.

Then somewhere in the past Cynthia and I discovered that we were both teaching for the same Community College District. She taught in the Business department and I taught in the English department.

And then we all discovered that we had a mutual love of a little known place on California’s Central Coast called Cayucos. Cynthia & Robin have relatives who live in Morro Bay and in Cayucos and they have an RV that loves to be parked in Cayucos at Bella Vista Mobile Home & RV Park, so numerous times each year they visit Cayucos. This is one of those times.

We always run out of time before we run out of talk. We’ll see them more this week and that will be fun.
