A window
A fabulous window through the cloud from the cabane this morning. We had such a lovely night and slept well (only the four of us staying there). It was great to chat with the young lady and men who run the cabane. What a place to work!
The piste opened early and we got two good runs in before it closed again as they were concerned about a rock fall. The area was secured and a helicopter arrived to move the rock that was causing concern. We were lucky enough to see two chamois but the greatest surprise was to spot four marmots (from the chairlift) on a small patch of grass, surrounded by snow. They must’ve just woken up from hibernation.
Dramatic scenery today as the sun came, went, returned with strong winds then went again. See extras.
Back at home now.I’ve backblipped yesterday.
