Foinavon

Traversed Foinavon from south to north with L today in beautiful sunshine, though there was a cold wind from the east. Foinavon is a very fine hill, definitely one of my favourites in the north of Scotland. Today was only my second outing on the hill, the first was with M O'S, about 1989. The view is looking south from Ganu Mor on Foinavon with Arkle rising off to the right. The distant hill with small patches of snow, just above the shoulder of Arkle, is Ben More Assynt. The extra is a panorama of Arkle from Foinavon.
