Chippy Tea
A slow day with some life admin and less housework than I would have liked. I had to cancel a health appointment today as I had no energy for it - I will reschedule.
I had some good news this afternoon which has been a big relief. I am feeling very grateful.
Celebrated with a fish supper and Diet Coke from a local chippy. Always delicious. I always add additional vinegar when I get home as I love the taste! I don’t go as often since I lost the four stone and since everything has continued to increase in price but it was soul food.
Tried to read some of my current novel but my eyes are long overdue an eye test due to the health flare ups so I’m finding reading is straining my exhausted eyes more than usual.
I managed a chapter or two before I had to rest them. I have an appointment booked in for May.
Pain and fatigue remain high but trying my best to rest and pace - rest not quit is my motto right now as I recover from the Covid and chest infection.
Pain and fatigue levels this week have been higher than usual. I have overdone things a little but no other alternative.
As a friend of mine said to me recently - cross all twenty digits every morning and hope for the best. Forever grateful for my two morning instant coffees as it is my fibromyalgia fuel! Porridge and a Gut Health shot are my go-to breakfast.
Really enjoyed the fish supper and chilled with some music to let it digest.
My sleep has been horrendous due to my pain levels and I have had several nights where I haven’t slept at all.
Looking forward to my long awaited Pain Clinic appointment next week.
Catching up with comments, hearts and stars :) xx
