stinging

I noticed on my morning walk that the nettles had grown enough to be harvested for soup, so that's what we had for our starter tonight. I have been distracted all day following the Bob Graham progress of Andrew, who paced Sarah on her successful attempt last year. As I write, he is over 20 hours in, somewhere above Honister. I think he'll make the 24 hour deadline, but not by much. It's been nail-biting stuff. I don't think he had very good weather for it, certainly no stunning views from the tops. Hope he sleeps well tonight...
