Lambs
This morning we walked around Norbury Park, and as we walk through a farm I knew there would be lambs at this time of year. There were so many lambs, and I liked this mama calling her baby. In the extra are a pair of siblings nuzzling each other. We had a good walk, and enjoyed an oat milk cappuccino from the coffee van in the middle of the woods.
After our walk we had to go into the village for something and so popped into the newly opened Joe and The Juice (it started in Copenhagen and now is all over the world). We got a green tuna salad for lunch which was so yummy! Big crunchy pieces of broccoli, spinach, kale, tuna and edamame - my kind of food.
This afternoon Gavin spent some time trying to learn to fly the drone, as he has not had much opportunity to do so yet. He took it up directly over our house and as expected I got a Whatsapp from our paranoid neighbours worrying it was suspicious activity from a criminal, but I reassured her it was Gavin just learning to take it up and down!
Tommy starts his final exams on Monday and is as stressed as can be, Cambridge University is a pressure pot of a place, especially at exam time. He has done well to survive four years there!
Last night we decided to start watching Obsession, the new show on Netflix that everyone seems to be talking about. It has had mixed reviews - well mainly bad ones. It was rubbish, such an implausible story that after about 20 minutes we switched over and watched The Diplomat with the brilliant Keri Russell, it was much better!
