Having suffered from the effects of this tummy bug overnight, it took me a long time to get going and even then I spent much of the afternoon enjoying the warmth and sunshine in the conservatory. While having a wee wander around the garden with Bertie, I came across this rhododendron/azalea. I’m not sure which it is as we inherited it with the garden. Although it is fairly non-descript for most of the year, it has these lovely blooms in the spring. Today, it had the added bonus of a bee enjoying the pollen.
