Another Succulen
You would not expect me to go to a Royal Horticultural Society Garden without adding to my Succulent collection.
Here is one of a few I have acquired this week.
It is a Gasteria. A Genus of flowering plants from South Africa, mostly from the Eastern Cape.
Common names include Ox-tongue, Lawyer’s tongue and the no doubt politically incorrect Mother in Law’s tongue.
The species are very variable and there may be up to 100 different ones.
This one is called Little Warty and has an RHS Certificate of Garden Merit.
The challenge will be to get it to flower.
