Botanic Gardens - Edinburgh

Today we went by train to Edinburgh along with our friend P to meet our friends D and L.  As I have mentioned before D and I have been friends since we met at the start of our Dick Vet course in 1967. Our wives met each other at teacher training only a few years later.

We left the 3 ladies to visit the shops and D and I headed for the Botanic Gardens - a place we often visited in our student days . It was a beautiful sunny day albeit with a very chilly wind but we found plenty sheltered spots. The extras show some of the views of the Edinburgh skyline and the surrounding hills.
