Friday: Palm trees in the moonlight

K. and I drove down to Split this afgernoon to meet Matt and Lori for the weekend.  It is so good to see them, it does really make us feel connected to home.

We drove though the mother of all storms to get here - it was a relief to come through on the other side.  Partly because we didn't want the weather to ruin our weekend but also because there was something so scarily apocalyptic about it.....

I didn't take many shots - we were so busy catching up.  But here are some Split palm trees in the moonlight.

Our hotel does like it's mod cons........K. Is currently trying to figure out how to switch off the dance music that is coming from our shower........
