Trucks

A piece of ground near my office has been cleared and, at least for the time being, is being used as a lorry park. I don't know whether it is likely to stay as a lorry park, I also don't know ether these tractors are going to be used for something like highway maintenenace, but the orange flashing lights suggest that they might be.

Seeing the DAF logo on the trucks reminds me the father of one of my friends used to work for the trucks division of British Leyland, which then was merged with DAF. The merged company was called "Leyland-DAF", but the workforce immediately came up with a much more realistic version of the name... LeyDAF...

Possibly only Scots will "get" that one...
