Springtime in the Austrian Alps

Apart from the wintry bit in the previous few photos it was a lovely time to be in the Alps. The holiday traffic is light and the trees and flowers are throwing out fresh flowers and leaves, the birds were singing and swifts, swallows and martens are screaming round gathering the insect life that is popping up. The only downside is that the weather can be a bit unpredictable, but when the sun comes out it is warm and lovely. Great photo weather.
