Jubilee hedge
The day start a little bit overcast but it soon cleared into another beautiful day. It was very hot too, so had to come inside to cool off :)
Brownies helped with the Jubilee Hedge in the evening. They were brilliant at clearing weeds and shovelling mulch. What a great job they did and we almost completed the whole row of 700 saplings. These were planted in November, hawthorn, wild rose, elderflower and more , all seem to be growing very well inside their protective barrier.
After Brownie Mike and myself went for a walk at the Point. Saw a gull catch a starfish who was not going to give it up to the others who immediately swooped in. A Raven flew over , we watched it from quite a distance until it was right over our heads.
A lovely evening, very calm. CT scan tomorrow so getting a bit nervous about that, be glad to get that out of the way and start moving.forward.
