A bit of history
It has been a beautiful sunny day and F and I went for a walk. We saw two male orange tips, a common blue and a speckled wood butterfly. It's lovely to see them flying again.
We found a field with a couple of derelict barns and an agricultural trailer (harrow?) with solid wheels making it really old. There was also a dolly tub for doing the washing before washing machines.
My extra photo is of a cluster of blue/black beetles on a fence. I did some researchand they appear to be Alder Leaf Beetles. There were a number of alder trees close to where we saw them and they eat the leaves.
