Acts of deliberate notice

Steeplechase

There is a huge cherry tree in the neighbouring village and D told me it is now in flower. The flowering season is short and I didn't want to miss it so we took a walk over this evening after dinner. The tree was every bit as beautiful as expected but the light had sunk behind the church so I didn't get the photo I was hoping for. Instead I saw the sun beginning to set over the fields on the way home, looking almost like it was resting on or jumping over the hedge.

I started a new 30 day challenge last night - this time to go to bed or wake up half an hour earlier. I already get up with the sun so early to bed it must be! I managed last night. Tonight I plan to do the same and am trying to convince my overachieving brain that I am not losing THAT much time from my day.
