Drover’s Road

The drover’s halt is near the drove road known as Salter’s Lane. We go walking around here (on private land-with permission) and we’ve noticed sections of cobble showing through the grass in places. The track comes out at a place known as Hangman’s Lane which is close to our house. I often wonder who’s walked around the land we live amongst.
