Open Garden

What an amazing afternoon. We did 150 teas and made £600 it was absolutely non-stop. Luckily we had made lots of cakes and didn’t run out like we did two years ago. I think we had about 12 slices left. This was taken towards the end of the day when I suddenly realised I hadn’t got a photo. All together Chris and Bill made £2,125. £750 on the gate, £600 on teas and the rest on plants. If you think of this happening all of the country, you can see why the National Garden Scheme made £3.1 million for charity in 2022.
