Fence alert!

Late this afternoon the wind became very strong and a couple of fence panels pulled away from their posts. Oh dear!
Although prickly shrubs such as holly and pyracantha are growing in front of the fence, I was a bit anxious in case next-door's Jack Russell decided to get through. He and Russet are, and always have been, serious enemies through the fence, and had nasty encounters in the fields when they were young!
But as F and I were struggling to prop up the fence in the wind, our wonderful tree surgeon, who lives in the village, appeared in the garden!
Yes, we had phoned a message but we didn't expect to get help at 6pm on a bank holiday Friday!
