NT Lanhydrock
The promised wall to wall sunshine didn’t really materialise today but we still had a great time at National Trust Lanhydrock. The kitchens were the best part of the house we thought. It wasn’t such an opulent house, more a modest property but with loads of rooms to see. The gardens were not at their best, apart from the tulips in front of the church - a bit late for the camellias and magnolias, and a bit early for some of the hydrangeas and azaleas :)
We had a nice toastie for lunch and dropped into the supermarket on the way home to fill up with petrol and pick up a few bits that Sainsburys failed to deliver on Saturday. A very good day and Dad was good with his scooter despite the (definitely more than 6%) hills!
There’s a few other shots in extras on a collage if you’re interested.
