Duloe Stone Circle
This morning we had a mobility scooter delivered onsite for my Dad to use. It breaks up into 6 different parts, but the parts themselves are are still fairly heavy. Anyway, after a demonstration on how to put it together, take it apart again and a mini training session for Dad, we loaded it into the back of my car and went back to watch the last apparatus finals of the European Gymnastics Championships. A great achievement by the team - Gold and Silver on the ladies floor with Jess and Alice doing so so well and Jake got a silver on the Men's Vault
After lunch we took the short drive to Looe and luckily we found ourselves a parking spot straight away, unloaded and assembled the scooter and had a nice little walk along the prom until it started to drizzle. So we came home again!
Early evening, I took a little stroll up the road to the Duloe Stone Circle. It's about 12m x 10m across in a kind of elliptical shape, and although small in terms of size, the actual stones are the biggest in Cornwall apparently and date back to the bronze age...
