The fireplace paint arrived yesterday so we made a trip down to the house in Tremeirchion so that I could do the job before the flooring contractors arrive.

It was a slow drive due to heavy traffic on the M62, M60, M6 and M56.

I managed to apply two coats of primer in the afternoon and returned in the evening to apply the first coat of the specialist Stonelux paint.

I took this photo on the way to the village at around 7:00 pm. There must have been over a hundred cows (mainly Friesians) awaiting milking.
