Tulips from Amsterdam

Looking forward to a nice long bank holiday weekend. To be fair, I don't work alot of Mondays as I have every other one off, and I would have been off this one anyway, but I do like a long weekend!

Another lovely day at work. I'm adjusting really well and learning alot about myself and that I can work happily in a female dominated environment. I've been used to working with men for so long and I'm not particularly a girly girl, so I wondered how hard that would be.....but they're all really lovely and very genuine and I'm finding it all very refreshing.

These tulips are some bulbs that I brought back from Amsterdam. Whenever I go I bring some back and there are many varieties in a certain patch of the garden. They're looking wonderful at the moment. Thought I'd play around with this and try the shot in low key with the background blanked out. I quite like it, although it's much more processed than my usual pics!
