Arise!

This morning, the Women's Ministry treated the ladies of our church to a brunch with music provided and led by Jana, an overview of the women's ministry in general by Jennifer, a glimpse into a new ministry to women dealing with lost pregnancies from Elise and an inspirational presentation by our pastor's wife, Bethany from the passage in Isaiah 60:1-3 where we are urged to "Arise, shine for thy light has come...." Jesus is our light in this dark world, so we need to wake up, get up and ask God what He wants us to do today to shed that light and then go do it! Bethany said it all so much better.  If you ever have the chance to hear he speak, I urge you to tale it, We also played a couple of ice breaker games  at our tables led by Trina and, of course, there was LOTS of good food and fellowship!  Thanks to all who worked to make it happen-----we appreciate you SO MUCH!!!!
