The Gayle Beck

A trip out to North Yorkshire this morning, down through Richmond and Leyburn and into Hawes for lunch.  As we crossed Main Street I took this shot of Gayle Beck running down to join the Widdale Beck and become the River Ure and later the Ouse.

The day brightened up after I'd had my fish and chips at the Hawes Chippy, creamy sweet haddock with crispy light batter.  OMG that was good.
