Early Bluebells

I am a bad person, but not that bad. Ruby was carefully lifted into and out of the bluebells for the shot, and no flowers were harmed in the making of this image! It made for such a nice photograph, though. ;-)

As the extra shows, this ride completed the first thousand kilometres on Ruby, which took eight months. They were in fairness the winter months, so hopefully it won't take so long to do the next thousand. 

Although she's an e-bike, when riding with Janet  I generally don't use the battery assist unless faced with one of the more daunting Gloucestershire hills. 

It was fun today, as we shared the roads with the Tour de Bristol. Overtaken by hundreds of mamil (and indeed lycra ladies!), occasionally Janet's little legs would go into battery powered overdrive and she'd sail past them again!
