Castel Gandolfo

Back blip from Wednesday.


We booked the visit of the Pontificial Gardens in Castel Gandolfo: it used to be the Pope's summer residence up until Papa John Paul II.  Papa Bergoglio has never come to spend the summer here, and he opened it to the public.  The gardens are beautiful, and so it is the palace.  We were able to visit both floors of the palace: the second floor is the Pope apartment. In the evening, I met 4 of my high-school mates and we had a nice dinner.
