Wishing

“I am so hungry but I’m too heavy to get on this feeder which she has just cleaned and filled up with sunflower hearts and I don’t even get the leftovers now. All the little birds get their share”.

I have had a busy day, into Exmouth for food and seed compost.. I have begun to sow some tomato, cucumber and cosmos seeds, I am a bit late but hopefully they will catch up. After lunch, I visited a neighbour to oversee her online banking which she refuses to do without me watching her. Then a walk to a neighbouring village to pick up some missing magazines for our local group. we noticed this evening that the great tits have started feeding their young in our nest box in the garden. We also have a blue tit box which has had residents the last couple of years, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
