Spent the day in Paris. Went to see Monet's big water lily paintings. I might have over egged my description of how massive they were as Toby was disappointed they weren't bigger!! Then we went up the Eiffel tower. Original plan was to go tomorrow but the staff are striking. We weren't able to get tickets to the top for today but I was quite glad as I'm not great with heights and I did feel a bit wobbly going up to the second floor. Stayed in town for a splurge on dinner. Went to the restaurant we visited last time we came to Paris for our wedding anniversary. Had a lovely meal. Unfortunately it didn't agree with me, which was a shame. Or it could have been the wine. Pretty sure I'm allergic to wine now :0(
