..and as is often the case, Sebastian's (our local butcher) has other goodies on sale apart from great meat and home smoked hams and salamis. Including curious and terrific tracklements, the matriarch's garden veggies and Italian pastries, today the featured favourite is ricotta.

Fresh baked bread at the next door bakery and the newsagent has come to the produce party too with trays of local avocados and persimmons.
Not many food miles going on here which is very encouraging.

I plan to ask 'Pep', S's son, if I can photograph a 'day in the life' of this wonderful butcher's. It is such a family affair.
