Mount Rogers

Something a bit different and very much analogue today. A friend gave me some boxes of old Polaroid film, expired in the late 1980s. Most of them are ruined and unusable, but I found one box of Type 655 film that sort of works. I took my Polaroid 104 camera loaded with this film up to Mount Rogers with the dogs this afternoon to try it out and see what happened. This is one of the shots that sort of came out. Obviously it's faded and lacking contrast, but it has a certain "je ne sais quoi", I feel. Anyway, it was lots of fun. It's such a pity that Polaroid went bust, as instant film really is a miraculous invention.
