St. Edumund's, Gunning
The day was sadly hijacked by the late arrival of the farrier, so Pete and I didn't get on the road until almost noon. We drove to Gunning, a small town that I have wanted to visit for ages. Unfortunately it was very windy today, too windy for my big view camera, so I didn't even get it out of the case. Instead we drove around checking things out, took some digital diary snaps for next time, and had a very pleasant lunch in a local cafe. It's like that sometimes with LF photography. You just have to be patient.
I rather like 19th century country churches, and this one is a beauty. There were two other churches in town, but not with as charming an entrance as this one.
