Ferry ‘Cross The Colne

After a lazy Saturday morning we caught this ferry from Wivenhoe across the River Colne to Rowhedge, on the opposite bank in the main blip here and walked upstream to the outskirts of Colchester, then back downstream on the Wivenhoe side.

It was mid-afternoon when we got back  and called in at The Black Buoy pub for a much needed pint.
