Easter Sunday and the temperature's rising

In between the gorging on chocolate, we decided we should prepare the back deck for summer living - and as we have gone from Winter to Summer without even bothering to say hello to Spring, it was none to soon.

Our back deck basically serves as a layer of protection against the cold during the winter months. And in the summer we live out there. We spent a couple of joyful hours scrubbing and disinfecting, dusting and sweeping, opening and chucking. And very therapeutic it was too. 

Especially for Ottawacker Jr. He managed to do more work than either of his parents and become suitably remunerated on a Bank Holiday. Oh, and Liverpool didn't capitulate against Arsenal....
