First Flowers
Quite warm day, about +9. Cloudy in the morning, gradually more sun.
After cooking, eating, having a nap and late afternoon coffee we went quickly to our allotment garden to see if the snow has melted to get there by moped. The evening sun was shining and the snow really had nearly melted. Just few days ago our neighbour "boy" sent a picture of the snow situation. Almost the whole yard was clearly snowy still then.
Now the first flowers, winter aconites (Eranthis hyemalis) were there already, very little snow left. In the Extra common blackbird (Turdus merula) seems to be busy building the nest, I guess, because it was gathering stuff from a dike.
We put fertilizer for raspberry bushes and took some garbage with us, checked the place after the winter time when we couldn't get there at all for all the snow.
On the way home we stopped by a grocery store for the previously forgotten margarine, and had also to buy some good bun. Near home we met our close friends, chatted for a moment, told them more about the fire in our family in Easter. Now we'll enjoy evening tea with a sandwitch and the bun.
