Harrison Park
Early cycle ride by Russel Road to Harrison Park. Showers first thing, dried up and was pleasant for the rest of the day. Back by the Meadows, George IV bridge and George St. There are still bike hostile disconnections between the cycle paths in particularly awkward patches of the city.
Out in the afternoon by tram to Edinburgh Park; walked along the canal to the intersection with the Water of Leith; had tea, back from there on a 44 bus. Mostly magpies about, a few mallard and a moorhen. Less birdlife on the canal there than I expected.
