No 153: Little Tern

No, not Little Ern.... This is a real bonus bird. I thought I was trying to photograph common terns offshore at Minsmere today, and it was only when I looked at the shots closely I realised that they were in fact little terns. It's been an astonishing day weatherwise - four seasons in one day doesn't do it justice. We've had thunder and lightening, huge hailstones, rainbows, icy winds warm sunshine, and some amazing light. It's our last day tomorrow, before we head homeward. The forecast sounds a bit grim, but you never know!
