Paper Roses

Well not quite, but these roses C bought me over a week ago were finally looking a bit brown & crinkly around the edges, but thought they would make a nice blip, before I consigned them to the compost bin.

Their colour has gone very dark as they’ve aged, they were blood red initially.

We had planned to make the most of our one free day together, a trip to the coast, Cleethorpes, as it holds memories for both of us, for different reasons, but it’s poured most of the day! We’ve just had a torrential downpour accompanied by thunder & lightening!

Needless to say we haven’t gone out:-(
