Splash of colour

Splash of colour on a grey afternoon. It may have been sunny and the warmest day of the year elsewhere, but in our tiny corner of the universe it was overcast and a tad on the chilly side! Passed this aubretia on a wall on my walk this afternoon.

A relaxing day, though I did clean the downstairs freezer (now empty and defrosted, ready for when we eventually move) while MrM continued with 'decluttering' the workshop and had a trip to the tip.

Just two of us here for Easter Sunday this year. The Easter bunny failed to bring any eggs, but we did indulge in some chocolate. And in the evening a very nice roast dinner.
