Grey Heron
I spotted the young male (pictured) on top of the dovecote as I was crossing the road to the park today. He flew down then came right over very close to the entrance. This is the first time one of the herons have done this since the original young one. I gave him a good feed but I could see he was nervous of the dustbin men working near the entrance so walked him in a bit onto the slope and fed him more. He eventually took off to the edge of the loch. As he took off the young female and the nervous one flew over. I struggled to get close enough to the nervous one but did manage to feed it a bit. I split the rest between the young male and the young female. then made for home. Only one Crow today!
