Grey Heron
Four Heron were over this morning, the young male was first and met me near the entrance again. He moved slightly further in as soon as I approached. I had just started feeding him and the nervous one when a whippet chased them off, the owner called it back and apologised. The young male flew to the start of the slope whereas the nervous one made for the waters edge. I went towards the young male who was joned by the young female and the adult male. I was happily feeding them when the whippet ran over and chased them all again. I saw them all landing at stages along the water edge and went there to continue feeding them. The shot is the adult male coming through some woods to get his share. Not many crows again!
