A Day At The Races

We’re enjoying a lovely Easter weekend with our youngest pair staying with us and also enjoying having Edinburgh friends down for a week who are staying in an Airbnb nearby.

Lovely weather today so we packed a picnic and we all headed off to Dingley where the fields are transformed into a race track, an annual local Easter event.

1000s of people attend, cars park on the hill which gives a great vantage point to watch the racing down in the valley.
We did go down to the finish line, great to catch a blip.

Fun day out, never been to a horse race before. The weather was fab.
