Out early today. I usually get up, make a pot of tea and have half an hour on my iPad. Instead I had my drink then headed to Windermere for shopping and down to Bowness for a blip.

Once home I made some breakfast then spent 3 hours in the garden. Dogwoods pruned (probably should have done them before now), old trellis removed, crocosmia reduced in size (that needed a spade) and general tidying. My back told me when it was time to stop.

The sun wasn’t on the shore when I arrived in Bowness but it did appear as I was about to go home so I took some shots again.
