Marking Your Territory

Not much to report today but we did have a thoroughly enjoyable day of relaxation.
Today's image was taken on another local photographic safari. I tried to challenge myself by just taking of a shot of what I saw beneath my feet and this is the result. I'm not sure what these markings are for but I'm going for a secret code left by local aerosol toting vigilante squirrels warning each other of the presence of pesky humans in their well established habitat nearby but I think the truth might be rather more mundane! :-)
