Mitchell Street

I hadn't been down Mitchell Street for a while, so on my way to get my hair cut at Lia's I was startled by the new signage on the Bowlers Rest (used to be "Eric Morrison", subtitled the Bowlers Rest in dark red I think and definitely a different font). Yet another local pub that I have never visited in ma puff. There were some workies in the street drawing indeterminate white markings on the cobbles.

Then, on my way back, I saw what the workies had been up to. 'Permit Holders Only' and 'Disabled' spaces (extra). Although we only had the info leaflet through the door this morning saying that work would start on 'Leith Connections' on April 10th. They're getting ahead of themselves.
