Windy and warm

Storm Kathleen was continuing to blow from the south - so much so that all sailings to Inchcolm were cancelled today. So D had an unexpected day off. It was nice to be able to go up to the allotment in the sunshine, but my goodness it was windy. The tulips in the back border were just about holding on to their petals, but a neighbours greenhouse (extra) had completely given up. We heaved some compost about and tidied up a bit, but it was still too wet for digging.

First time I heard Windy and Warm was from Doc Watson, but I think Chet Atkins did the original version.
