Thule
So today's Musical May has been tricky. Thule by the Album Leaf. According to Wikipedia Thule refers to either Greenland or Iceland in classical European literature, or Thule are the ancestors of the Inuit, a planet in Star Wars or a company that make roof boxes amongst other things. I have not taken anything like that. This is a chandelier in the Musée Carnavalet. Glass looks a bit like ice which links with Iceland etc. Mainly it's quite pretty as is the song.
Started off by searching for the Ben and Jerry's truck by Place de la Bastille which is giving out free ice cream in Paris this week. Got some free Fairly Nuts ice cream which was fairly delicious. Next headed to the Musée Carnavalet which tells the history of Paris and was really interesting. Lots on the Revolution. We then met one of Becky's friends for a delicious hot chocolate. Possibly the new favourite before wandering round Le Marais and heading to the vintage shop.
All in all a very nice day.
