Uphill struggle

On this part of the Saratoga - Kincumber board walk there is a narrow strip of houses between the water’s edge and the gum tree covered cliff behind. It’s an idyllic situation and no doubt any usable house blocks have been built on long since. This block is at the end of the strip, where the flat land  runs out, and you would imagine building would be challenging and expensive. Someone must really want to live here.
