Crab apple in the rain

This is the crab apple we see from our study windows. It is colouring beautifully this year. Unfortunately, as fast as the leaves change colour, the rain washes them away.
 
Sydney has already had the equivalent of its average annual rainfall this year. Parts of Sydney are under evacuation orders. The Southern Highlands seem to be safe so far.
 
Meanwhile this is vaccination central. We had our flu shots today, fourth Covid is booked for two weeks’ time and then they say we should have pneumonia (the vaccination, not the illness).
